Púchov's valley and region HornolideŔsko are bordering regions of Slovak and Czech republic.
Dividing of Czechoslovakia in 1993 caused many problems with continuing and increasing of existing cooperation with neighbourig country. There is a long tradition in communication between two nations, family bonds and friendships without language bariers.
There are plenty of social, art, cultur and sport events and attractions in frontier regions of Púchov's valley and HornolideŔsko.
To keep these events and to support new cooperations, villages of both regions came to an agreement on friendship and cooperation and signed a contract in December 2004: "Zmluva o priateżstve a spolupráci", with an amendment to this contract from May 2005.
The main purpose of this cooperation is common help with developing of both regions - propagation of them, expanding of tourism, care about the ecology and the enviroment.
