Púchov's valley and region HornolideŔsko are bordering regions of Slovak and Czech republic.
Dividing of Czechoslovakia in 1993 caused many problems with continuing and increasing of existing cooperation with neighbourig country. There is a long tradition in communication between two nations, family bonds and friendships without language bariers.

Púchov's valley is situated in northwest of Slovakia in a place where mountain ranges Biele Karpaty (White Carpatian) and Javorníky are meeting. It winds from the border with Czech republic, through the Lysá mountain pass, alongside the river Biela voda as far as the district town Púchov.

The Region HornolideŔsko is situated on boundary of two mountain ranges: Vizovické vrchy and Javorníky. The region HornolideŔsko spreads along the river Senice that flows in the river Vsetínska BeŔva. Part of the region is located in protected territory Beskydy.
